Plant and Soil LAB Service
The Plant and Soil Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities (ICP-OES and CHNS analyzer) that allow the high performance and advanced elemental analysis of the soil, plant tissue, fertilizers and irrigation water samples.
Standard soil analysis:
pH and EC, mechanical analysis, total N, organic C, CEC, plant available macro- and micronutrients (P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mo, Cu, B), exchangeable Al (at pH ≤ 5.0).
Si analysis:
Plant available Si in soil and fertilizers; total Si in plant tissues.
Heavy metal soil analysis:
Total and extractable Zn, Mn, Cu, Pb, Cd, Ni, Cr.
Plant tissue analysis:
Total nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B, Mo, Ni) and potentially toxic elements
(Al, Na, As, Cr, Pb, Cd).
Irrigation water analysis:
pH, EC, SAR, HCO3-, NO3-, Cl-, Na, K, Ca, Mg, P, B, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Mo, Al, As, Cr, Ni, Pb, Cd.
